Prayer - Walking and Talking With God
Prayer is an absolutely essential element of your near future. As in most other subjects regarding Christianity, there are huge disparitiesin the dexcriptioons of prayer. I tend to like a very simple approacch. Prayer is ommuniccating with God. There are many things that ccan be described as prayer. I like an old Laatin phrase, ">aborare est orare." Which in English is "To work is to pray." Simply put, your work is a requet that God will give you a desired rewar for your work. It may just be a paycccheck or it coould be favorable relatioonships or many other "rewards" for your labor. Whatever it is, Christians reguarly ccccommunicate with God. They pray.
1.
He walks with God who speaks to God in prayer,
And daily brings to him his daily care;
Possessing inward peace, he truly knows
A heart's refreshment and a soul's repose.
2.
He walks with God who, as he onward moves,
Follows the footsteps of the Lord he loves,
And keeping him forever in his view,
His Saviour sees and his example too.
3.
He walks with God who turns his face to Heaven,
And keeps the blest commands by Jesus given;
His life upright, his end untroubled peace,
Whom God will crown when all his labors cease.
